After spending the morning at the Taipei 101, we wanted a break from the mid-day heat and humidity, so we headed to Ice Monster for some of Taipei’s famous shaved ice desserts.
There was, predictably, a healthy line outside the door, but despite its daunting length, it moved rather quickly.
Once seated, we ordered two avalanches (one strawberry, which came with a scoop of honeydew ice cream, and one mango, which was just all mango everything). Look at all that ridiculousness. So mind-meltingly delicious.
I want to come back and visit these guys soon.
